About this event
A long-running juried holiday-season art and craft show held over a three-day weekend at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds in San Jose. Exhibitors are screened for handmade work, with categories limited to reduce direct competition, and the show also hosts specialty food and vintage exhibitors. Booths are professionally draped with electrical service included, and the organizer sells admission tickets to shoppers, so vendors sell to a paying holiday-shopping crowd. It is one stop on the organizer's regional circuit of Harvest Festival shows, each of which takes its own applications.

- Applications are online only; paper applications are not accepted. New artists use the jury application (https://pci.jotform.com/form/262317541358155) with a jury sheet, at least 7 photos (4 finished products, the maker at work, the workshop, the booth) and a $50 application deposit that is credited to the booth fee if accepted and refunded if not. Returning artists use https://pci.jotform.com/form/261274431666156. There is no application deadline: spaces are not held and are assigned by application timing and category until the show sells out. The organizer aims to notify new applicants within 72 hours. The July 1 deposit and payment-plan cutoff has passed, so full booth fees are due at application or acceptance, by credit card for shows after October 15. Cancellations after July 1 forfeit 100% of the booth fee.
What the organizer asks for
- Seller's permit
- Juried
- Original work only
A current California seller's permit is required (a temporary event permit is allowed; specialty food exhibitors do not need one). Work must be handmade or 50% embellished in the U.S. by the exhibitor; commercial, franchised, buy-sell, imported items and kits are not allowed. The application terms make exhibitors responsible for their own general liability insurance (the FAQ calls it strongly recommended). Standard booths need a side drape, which is the exhibitor's responsibility. Specialty food exhibitors also complete a food questionnaire.
